‘Price of land plot of Lalu’s family highly exaggerated by SuMo’
Patna,(BiharTimes): Syed Abu Dojana, the owner of Meridian Constructions Private Ltd, which is constructing the mall on the two acres plot near Saguna More has questioned the BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi’s statement that the land is worth Rs 500 crore.
Dojana, who is the RJD MLA from Sursand in Sitamarhi district, said that at present the mall is being built on G-plus-7 basis. The total construction area is around 3.5 lakh square feet.
The estimated cost of the mall at the present rate is around Rs 60 to Rs 70 crore. But after price escalation of construction material and labour cost in the next three years, the maximum investment in the mall would be around Rs 110 to Rs 120 crore.
Dojana said he was using only 35 per cent of the land. It is nowhere near figure Sushil Modi is talking about.
Not only Dojana, but other real estate and builders are of the view that the land price being claimed by Sushil Kumar Modi is highly exaggerated as the plot is about seven to eight kilometres from the heart of Patna. But the amount is still huge.
