Mall row: If one person is speaking in BJP, none in JD(U) and Congress

Patna,(BiharTimes): If former deputy CM and senior BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi is the only BJP or NDA leader to launch a systematic attack on Lalu Prasad and his family on the alleged land scam the RJD president is reportedly upset over the silence of the Grand Alliance partners Janata Dal (United) and Congress.

It is generally argued that Janata Dal (United) chief Nitish Kumar is not in the habit of speaking much, yet what has disturbed RJD leaders is the silence of other JD(U) leaders.

But one can not deny the fact that nobody in JD(U) can speak without the green signal of Nitish.

Similarly, no one from the Congress has come out to defend Lalu and his family over the recent mall controversy.

Reports suggest that on Thursday Lalu Prasaad called a meeting of all the four spokespersons of the party to instruct them how to counter the allegations being levelled by Sushil Kumar Modi. Former CM Rabri Devi too was present in it.

Pragati Mehta, Mritunjay Tiwari, Chitranjan Gangan and Ashok Singh attended the closed-door meeting at Rabri Devi’s residence.

The situation in the rival BJP camp has not changed much with SuMo still the lone warrior. Many dissidents within the saffron party such as former general secretary Sudhir Sharma and former minister Sunil Kumar Pintu are busy calling the new state party chief Nityanand Rai as mafia and a man with a questionable past.
