SuMo rubbishes RJD’s allegation of money laundering
Patna,(BiharTimes): Senior BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi on Monday rubbished allegations levelled by RJD that the former used to amass wealth with the help of shell companies of elder brother Raj Kumar Modi..
SuMo asked RJD to come up with documentary evidence against him to substantiate the charges.
SuMo claimed that he has levelled charges against Lalu Prasad and his family with documentary evidences whereas RJD levelled allegations against him without any proof or evidence.
The former deputy chief minister said he is neither a director, nor a partner nor shareholder in any company.
“I am actively involved in politics. I don’t have any business, nor do I have any contract or farming,” he said while refuting RJD spokesman Manoj Jha’s allegations.
How can he reply to the allegations levelled against my relatives’ companies when he is neither a partner nor a director or shareholder in these companies. Only the owner of the company can reply to the allegations, he said.
Sushil Modi alleged that his relatives are being harassed but he was not going to be either blackmailed or intimidated, rather he would intensify his campaign with double force.
According to SuMo the said company, Ashiana Homes Pvt Ltd has not been working in Bihar for past 20 years so how can he as the deputy chief minister, help it flourish.
Besides, it was UPA, which ruled for 10 years in which RJD was a partner, he said.
