Rajak hits out at BJP leaders for politicizing CRPF jawans’ martyrdom
Patna,(BiharTimes): Senior JD(U) leader Shyam Rajak on Wednesday denounced the Bharatiya Janata Party for politicizing the martyrdom of CRPF personnel in Chhattisgarh.
Reacting to the allegation levelled by the BJP leaders that the convey carrying six bodies of slain CRPF men were stopped at Patna Airport area for security reasons as chief minister Nitish Kumar was attending a function nearby, Rajak retorted who does not know how sensitive Nitish Kumar is about such thing. BJP is cooking up false stories for petty political gains.
Rajak was present at the Patna Airport to receive the bodies of the jawans and paid tributes to them.
Nitish had on Tuesday condoled the killing of 25 CRPF jawans in Maoists attack in Chhattisgarh. He also announced Rs 5 lakh ex-gratia each to the six para-troopers who hailed from Bihar.
Patna Senior Superintendent of Police Manu Maharaj denied that the vehicles, carrying the bodies of the jawans, were stopped.
Earlier, several BJP leaders accused the chief minister of not paying respect to the martyrs and said that no minister of the Nitish cabinet turned up at the airport.
