Patna,(BiharTimes): Deputy chief minister-cum-finance minister Sushil Kumar Modi on Saturday directed the principal secretaries of all departments, divisional commissioners and DMs to procure updated statements of government bank accounts, match them with cashbooks and take action against any irregularities.
His move follows illegal transfer of hundreds of crores to an NGO in Bhagalpur in the last several years.
