Srijan Scam: Bihar govt decides to recommend CBI probe
Patna,(BiharTimes): Chief minister Nitish Kumar on Thursday decided to recommend a CBI investigation into the Srijan Scam of Bhagalpur, which involves the alleged embezzlement of at least Rs 764 crore of government money.
He took the decision after a review of the progress in the investigation of the case with top officials, including chief secretary Anjani Kumar Singh, director-general of police P K Thakur, principal secretary, home, Amir Subhani, and inspector-general of the Economic Offences Unit, J S Gangwar.
