Rabri sold eight flats in one day: SuMo

Patna,(BiharTimes): After RJD chief Lalu Prasad’s counter-allegation that the alleged sand mafia Subhash Prasad Yadav got licence when Sushil Kumar Modi was the mines and geology minister in the previous Nitish Kumar cabinet the deputy chief minister on Friday charged that Rabri Devi sold eight flats in a day to this sand mafia and an RJD MLA.

and his family members had close links with people engaged in illegal sand mining in Bihar.

According to SuMo the former CM sold three flats to Subhash for Rs 1.72 crore while five more to Sandesh MLA of RJD Arun Yadav for Rs 2.56 crore in a name of sham company. The purchases were made by sons of MLA, Rajesh Kumar Ranjan and Dipur Kumar as well as his wife Kiran Devi, who are directors in the company, SuMo alleged.

He came up with documents to substantiate his claim and maintained that a company owned by family members of Arun Kumar had bought five flats in Maa Marachhiya Devi complex at Saguna Mor in western outskirt of Patna from Rabri Devi.

He said the deal was struck on June 13 this year.

On August 7, Sushil Modi had revealed the details of the flats the companies linked to Subhash Yadav had bought.

It was upon this that Lalu hit back stating that Subhash actually got licence for sand minning when SuMo was the minister.
