Shivanand Tiwari returns to politics, made RJD vice president
Patna,(BiharTimes): Former minister Shivanand Tiwari on Sunday returned to the active politics and was immediately made the vice president of the Rashtriya Janata Dal.
Tiwari’s decision to abandon retirement and return to politics did not come as a big surprise as he had been issuing statement in favour of RJD chief Lalu Prasad. His son is already an MLA of RJD.
Tiwari retired from politics in 2014 sometimes after he was unceremoniously sacked from the post of national spokesman of JD (U) by chief minister Nitish Kumar.
Recently he has repeatedly denounced Nitish for switching over from Grand Alliance to NDA.
