We are Nitish Kumar’s Alsatian dogs, proclaim three JD(U) spokesmen

Patna,(BiharTimes): Though RJD chief Lalu Prasad did not take their names yet they are proud to be called as Alsatian dogs of chief minister Nitish Kumar.

Calling oneself Alsatian dog of chief minister a stupidity or a wise move is debateable, but the three spokespersons of Janata Dal (United) on Thursday jointly proclaimed before the mediapersons that they are actually so.

In fact on Wednesday Lalu Prasad, while criticizing Nitish Kumar for his involvement in Srijan Scam said that the chief minister had three Alsatian dogs who were not competent enough to speak on the financial scandal.

“Alsatian dogs have natural reactions and instincts towards thieves. So it is quite obvious that they will bark. Lalu ji is a senior leader and if he chooses to call us Alsatians, we thank him for the compliment,” said Dr Ajay Alok, who was reinstated to the post of spokesman earlier this year after his removal last year.

“But he should also explain his position, his party’s position and his sons' position on various cases of theft. The people of Bihar want to know and till the time he does not explain his position, barking from our side will continue and it will lead to biting also,” he added.

“We would have really been surprised had Laluji used temperate language. This kind of language is expected of Laluji and we are not surprised. Had he used nice and kind words, it would have troubled us,” Alok further said.

Chief spokesperson and MLC Sanjay Singh was even more scathing in his attack on Lalu, calling him a “street dog” and a “mentally sick person”. He also took digs at RJD chief saying his political career was finished.

“Lalu Prasad is calling us Alsatian dogs who are faithful. But the way Lalu Prasad is barking it seems he has become a street dog and a mentally sick person. After realising that power will never come back to him, he has lost his mental balance. I will suggest that Lalu gets himself treated at Kanke mental asylum as he has been visiting Ranchi at regular intervals,” Sanjay said.

He had in the past used similar expression for RJD vice president Raghuvansh Prasad Singh.

The third spokesman  Neeraj Kumar, also an MLC, went on to “thank Lalu for calling us Alsatians. It means he has understood how faithful and trustworthy we are. Laluji should also know the nature of Alsatians, that whenever there is an attack on the owner, he bites the face and also attacks the chest.”
However, independent observers were surprised by the insistence of the three spokesmen to be identified with such a ferocious animal.

“Whatever be Lalu’s motive, he had not taken anyone’s name. Yet Ajay Alok, Sanjay Singh and Neeraj Kumar, instead of ignoring RJD chief chose to be called as Alsatian dogs. Nitish is wisely using them and showing them their place. He had done what even Lalu could not do to them,” commented an analysts.
