Patna,(BiharTimes): The state cabinet on Tuesday approved a general administration department proposal for new norms for inter-state transfer of
personnel appointed under the state administrative services.
The state government officials would be able to get transfer at the same rank and same service for an initial period of three years upon approval by Bihar and the other state.
In another decision, the cabinet approved a proposal of home department for direct appointment of sub-inspectors through Bihar Police Subordination Service Commission. The candidates would have to clear the preliminary test, followed by main exams and physical ability test.
