BJP MLA passes away





Patna,(BiharTimes): BJP MLA Anand Bhushan Pandey died at a private hospital in Delhi on Thursday morning.

He was 41-year-old and had been suffering from a liver disease since August this year.

He used to represent Bhabua Assembly seat.

Pandey was born in March 1976. A first time MLA he originally belonged to Bhagwanpur village in Bhabua.

Governor Satya Pal Malik, chief minister Nitish Kumar and Assembly and Council members condoled his death.

 Assembly Speaker Vijay Kumar Choudhary on Thursday asked the legislators to observe a minute’s silence and later adjourned the House for the day in its pre-lunch session. The CM was present in the House.

Council members also observed one-minute silence in the presence of deputy chairman Haroon Rashid, who adjourned the House till 11am on Friday.

Deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modi, state BJP chief Nityanand Rai along with the party’s other senior functionaries and ministers like Nand Kishore Yadav and Mangal Pandey also condoled the death.
