Three weeks after trader’s murder police still clueless





Patna,(BiharTimes): Three weeks after the killing of the owner of Khadim show-room in Bailey Road the Patna Police is still clueless.

This is the situation when the DIG Central Range late last month held the salaries of 70 out of 73 station house officers of the Patna district.

Jitendra was shot dead by unidentified criminals, who came on two bikes, intercepted Jitendra’s two-wheeler while he was returning home on November 21 night. His son, who was riding his motor-cycle, fired at the criminals, with his own licencee revolver but they fled away.   

The incident took place at Jagdeo Path under the Airport police station area.

A special investigation team (SIT) consisting of two DSP rank officers was formed by City SP (Central) D Amarkesh to catch the culprits. He said more than 30 suspects, including notorious criminal Pankaj Sharma, were questioned in this case. Pankaj was arrested recently.
