Petition seeking CBI probe into BSSC paper leak case filed
Patna,(BiharTimes): A Patna High Court lawyer Manihushan Pratap Sengar on Friday filed a writ petition in the court of Acting Chief Justice Hemant Gupta seeking a CBI or judicial probe into the Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) paper leak case.
In his petition he said as the case was being investigated by a special investigation team (SIT), which is a state government agency, it cannot make an impartial inquiry as top bureaucrats and politicians are suspected to be behind the scandal.
Bihar chief secretary, home secretary, director-general of police (DGP), chairman, Staff Selection Commission (SSC) and all the district magistrates (DMs), senior superintendents of police (SSPs) and SPs have been made respondents in the case.
