CM Nitish Kumar's son, his deputy richer than him





Patna,(BiharTimes): Maintaining the tradition established by him in 2010, Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar and members of his cabinet declared their  assets on the New Year’s day.

According to the details of the movable and immovable assets filed by the CM he is poorer than his son Nishant Kumar. He has cash, bank deposits, a Ford car, cows and calves, an exercise bicycle, a flat in Delhi worth Rs 56 lakh.

In contrast the total assets of his son is worth Rs 2.36 crore.

Deputy chief minister Tejaswi Yadav has no vehicle but land plots in Danapur and Phulwarisharif blocks of Patna as well as in Gardanibagh area of the state capital.

Elder brother and health minister Tej Pratap Yadav has a car worth Rs 29 lakh, a motorcycle worth Rs 15 lakh and bank deposits of Rs three lakh. He also has land plots in Danapur and Phulwarisharif.

Finance minister Abdul Bari Siddiqui has a bank deposit of Rs 26. 22 lakh. He has an SUV and a Maruti car. He has a revolver, a rifle and a gun.

Science and technology minister Jai Kumar Singh too has revolver and rifle.

Water resources minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lallan Singh has a car worth of Rs 7.30 lakh and bank deposit of over one crore. He also has a shop in a shopping complex in Patna. Besides, he has one pistol and a rifle.

 Agricultural minister Ram Vichar Rai has bank deposit of Rs 24 lakh and a pistol, a rifle and a gun in his name.

Rural development minister Shrawan Kumar has gold worth of Rs two lakh whereas his wife has jewellery worth Rs 5.35 lakh.

Art and Culture Minister Shiv Chandra Ram has 6.10 kg silver, 100 gm gold whereas his wife has 455 gm gold and 2.25 kg silver. He has also land plots and houses in Patna and Vaishali districts.

Most of the ministers are poorer than their wives in terms of bank deposits as cash and jewellery.
