When Lalu & sons exchange pleasantries with Narendra Modi

Patna,(BiharTimes): While BJP leaders’ bonhomie with chief minister Nitish Kumar on Thursday got much coverage  prime minister Narendra Modi’s chat with Lalu Prasad and his sons did not get due attention.

At the special lunch for VVIPs organised at Gandhi Maidan after the programme was over Narendra Modi greeted health minister and Lalu’s eldest son Tej Pratap by saying: “Aap to Kishan Kanhaiya ho gaye hain” (You have become Kishan Kanhaiya or Lord Krishna).

The prime minister was referring to photos of Tej Pratap playing the flute dressed as Krishna that had gone viral on social media on January 1.

Tej Pratap, Tejaswi Yadav and their father exchanged pleasantries with Narendra Modi at the lunch.

The Prime Minister also inquired about the health of ailing Lalu.

This was something rare as Lalu and NaMo are considered bitterest political rivals. Perhaps the last time they came face to face in any function was during the marriage of RJD leader’s youngest daughter, Raj Lakshmi, about two years back.
