Nitish, Lalu, Ashok Chaudhary hail success of human chain
Patna,(BiharTimes): Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar and RJD supremo Lalu Prasad on Saturday hailed the big success of the human chain organized by the Grand Alliance government.
Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee chief and state’s education minister Ashok Chaudhary also termed it as a big social change.
Nitish thanked the people of the state as well as the media for making the human chain a great success. He said that never in the history of the world such a huge human chain had been organized.In Bangladesh and Nepal big human chains had been organized but they were not as big as this one, he added.
He refused to comment on the absence of the BJP leader in the main function at Patna. They organized one such human chain in Siwan where the BJP has its state executive meeting on Jan 21-22.
Lalu was all praise for human chain and said that Grand Alliance government had fulfilled its poll promise of implementing prohibition.
