Grand Alliance in Bihar not going to break: Jitan Ram Manjhi

Patna,(BiharTimes): Accusing Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar of always betraying the alliance partners former Bihar chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi said that “I personally feel that the Grand Alliance in Bihar is not going to break.”

Talking to the BBC Hindi’s Namaskar Bharat programme on Tuesday morning he said both Lalu Prasad and Nitish Kumar have their own agenda.

While Lalu wanted to make his sons deputy chief minister and minister and has sent his daughter to Rajya Sabha Nitish is busy branding himself to be recognised as a leader on the national plain. For this he has been organizing various celebrations such as the 100th anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi’s Satyagrah.

On Nitish sermonising the Congress party Manjhi said “Sao chuha kha kar billi chali Haj ko.” The two brothers (Lalu and Nitish) are sitting on the lap of the same Congress against whom they had struggled and reached to this position.

“Nitish is totally unreliable. He ditched BJP.

He always plays pressure politics. He is now arm-twisting RJD,” the Hindustani Awam Morcha leader said.

On the BJP asking Nitish to join NDA Manjhi said no central BJP leader has invited him––neither Amit Shah and Narendra Modi. The state leaders have no locus standi.

Quoting Kabir he said in politics things should be understood inversely. So if Nitish is saying that he is not in the race for the post of PM he means something quite the opposite.

Manjhi’s statement came just hours after Nitish gave a lecture to the Congress party.
