Bihar BJP chief contradicts SuMo on stand towards Nitish
Patna,(BiharTimes): Just a couple of days after senior BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi invited Nitish Kumar’s JD(U) to return to the NDA fold the state party chief Nityanand Rai said his party is in no hurry to welcome the chief minister back into National Democratic Alliance.
In an interactive session with youths organized by an NGO, he said the BJP wants the NDA to get majority on its own in the next state Assembly elections, whenever they are held.
He said BJP is not eager to join hands with anyone ekse in Bihar. Rather, it believes in forming an NDA government in the state on its own strength.
Incidentally, former chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi, who is also the leader of an NDA constituent Hindustani Awam Morcha too opposed the return of Nitish Kumar into the NDA fold.
