CPI (ML) blames Nitish for rampant “institutional corruption” in Bihar

Patna,(BiharTimes): Coming down heavily on chief minister Nitish Kumar for rampant “institutional corruption” in Bihar CPI (ML) general secretary, Dipankar Bhattacharya, said on Wednesday the “institutional corruption” in various government departments, in particular education, poses bigger question than what the alleged “personal corruption” of deputy chief minister Tejashwi Prasad Yadav.

He asked Nitish as to why no action has been taken against anyone in a series of scams which took place during his 12 years rule.

These scams involve thousands of crores yet hardly any action has been taken against those involved.

Dipankar urged the CM to respond to various scams which took place under his regime. He said the people`s mandate given in 2015 state Assembly election had not been respected under the present dispensation.

According to him Nitish  could not escape from taking the responsibility for institutional corruption as RJD president Lalu Prasad had to resign from the post of chief minister when the fodder scam was unearthed.
