‘Nitish may face Mamta, Naveen type scam music if he does not leave Lalu’
’Patna,(BiharTimes): As the political deadlock continues in Bihar
sources from the corridors of power hint that chief minister Nitish
Kumar is under intense pressure from the Narendra Modi government.
According to top official sources Nitish’s flip-flop has less to do
with politics and more to do with something else. They said that
Nitish may face Mamta Banerjee and Naveen Patnaik type pressure from
the Cenre.Needless to say both the Bengal and Odisha chief ministers are facing
the music of chit scam.
If the story is to be believed the BJP may not let Nitish go so
easily. The Union government may put pressure so that JD(U) part ways
from RJD at the earliest.
Commenting on this development a politician, who has, in the past been
close to borth Lalu Prasad and Nitish Kumar, but is now not in the
active politics, told BiharTimes that he is surprised by the way
Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav has capitulated before
Narendra Modi. He was referring to the way Mulayam, with the help of
brother Shivpal Yadav, managed to secure some SP votes for the NDA
Presidential candidate, Ram Nath Kovind.
“Have you heard Mulayam speaking anything against Narendra Modi. He is
no more a lion, just a mouse. Only Laluji is daring to challenge the
BJP,” he said.
Thus the Tejashwi episode has not only landed Lalu, but Nitish also in trouble.
