BJP MP Bhola Singh blasts SuMo for House disruption statement

Patna,(BiharTimes): In somewhat surprising development the BJP MP from Begusarai, Bhola Singh, on Monday came down heavily on his party senior leader and former deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi for his statement given on Sunday that his party would not let the two Houses of Bihar Assembly function if deputy chief minister Tejashwi Prasad Yadav does not resign by July 27.

Condemning SuMo’s statement Bhola Singh asked as to who is he to decide that the Houses would not be allowed to function.

“He had made party a ‘qatalgah’. Who is he to say that he would not let Bihar Assembly function…Sushil Modi is the Khalnayak for Bihar politics,” Bhola Singh said.

However, he had a word of praise for chief minister Nitish Kumar.

Bhola’s statement has come as a sigh of relief to beleaguered RJD as it has exposed the big divide within the saffron party. Only sometimes back BJP’s Patna Saheb MP Shatrughan Sinha too attacked his own party leadership for signalling out RJD chief Lalu Prasad.

However, independent political observers are of the view that Bhola Singh and Shatrughan Sinha have problems with the central leadership of the party as they have not been accommodated anywhere. If they are denied ticket in 2019 they may look towards either JD(U) or RJD.

Though SuMo too was among the Bihar BJP leader neglected by the central leadership yet he continues his tirade against Lalu and is hoping to be ‘re-adjusted’ or rewarded for loyalty.
