JD(U) takes a U-turn, now says no one will be spared

Patna,(BiharTimes): A day after strongly defending BSEB chairman, Anand Kishor, the Janata Dal United on Saturday said no one will be spared.

Talking to the media its spokesperson Neeraj Kumar,  referred to what happened to IAS officer, Sudhir Kumar in the BSSC paper leak scam case.

Neeraj, who on Friday praised Anand Kishor said a day later, anyone guilty would face the consequence.

Kishor, like Sudhir, is considered as a no nonsense officer, who as the district magistrate of Sheikhpura and Nalanda checked the unfair means in examination. In fact the BSEB, to much extent, succeeded in curbing the unfair means in exam this year but failed to detect the fudging of date of birth by Arts topper, Ganesh Kumar.

As to how much trust the state government repose on Kishor can be measured by the fact that currently holds three posts–– chairman of BSEB, Commissioner of Patna and Inspector General, Jails.

Kishor could have weathered the storm created after the failure of two-thirds students in Arts and Science streams of Class-XII. But the Ganesh Kumar episode has certainly landed him in trouble.

This is indefensible for JD(U), which only a day earlier disagreed with alliance partner, the RJD on this issue.

It is too early to say whether Kishor would meet the fate of former chairman of the BSEB Lalkeshwar Prasad Singh or Sudhir Kumar, yet it is a fact that the state government may soon replace him to save its image.
