Axe likely to fall on BSEB boss

Patna,(BiharTimes): The Nitish Kumar government on Saturday issued a show-cause notice to the chairman of Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) Anand Kishor, a day after the arrest of Plus-II Arts topper Ganesh Kumar. He was arrested on Friday on the charge of fudging his date of birth.

He has been show-caused for not paying heed to the education minister’s instructions to verify the credentials of the state toppers in all streams before publishing the results.

Sources said the the education minister Ashok Chaudhary is not happy with the present chairman. He failed to live up to the expectations of the minister and the education department officials, who received flak for laxity on part of the Board.

Sources also said that action would be taken against Kishor after receipt of his reply.
