Lalu meets Hemant, Babulal Marandi; invites them for August 27 rally
Patna,(BiharTimes): A day after meeting JVM leader and first CM of Jharkhand Babulal Marandi, RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav on Friday, met former chief minister and working president of JMM, Hemant Soren. The close-door meeting at the state guest house in Ranchi lasted for half an hour.
Lalu, who was in Ranchi to appear in a fodder scam case, invited Hemant for August 27 RJD rally in Patna. A day earlier he extended invitation to Marandi too.
Lalu accused the BJP of thrusting on the people of the state a non-tribal and non-Jharkhandi as the chief minister.
Raghubar Das, it needs to be mentioned, is a Sahu originally from neighbouring Madhya Pradesh.
The RJD leader called for the need of the opposition unity.
Hemant, on his part, said that anti-incumbency factor is sweeping the country and the situation has deteriorated everywhere since Narendra Modi became the prime minister three years ago.
