Tej Pratap in Vrindavan, to offer special prayer to Krishna





Patna,(BiharTimes): Health, forest and environment minister Tej Pratap, who left Patna on Thursday reached Vrindavan on Friday, where he would offer a special prayer dedicated to Lord Krishna.

He has reportedly assured his parents that he would be back by June 10 to attend the 69th birthday celebration of father Lalu Prasad.

Sources said Tej would hold ‘nirjala vrat’ (fast without water) throughout the journey of 950 km and his stay over there for nearly three days.

Reports said a trusted pandit of Tej Pratap has advised him to conduct the prayers while holding ‘nirjala’ at Vrindavan’s Banke Bihari temple for fulfilment of higher aspirations in his political career.

According to Lalu’s close aide Bhola Yadav the health minister left for Vrindavan in the morning to have darshan of Lord Krishna and pay his obeisance.

Tej Pratap has been performing various religious rites ever since BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi launched series of allegations on land deal. Recently a Yagya was performed at his residence and help of an astrologer was sought to come out of trouble.
