Bihar now facing problem of plenty of power: Siddiqui
Patna,(BiharTimes): Bihar which had, till a few years back, been facing power shortage is now facing the problem of plenty of electricity.
This was stated by finance minister Abdul Bari Siddiqui, while inaugurating the national conference on “Re-powering Bihar” organized by Centre for Environment and Energy Development (CEED) at Maurya Hotel on Thursday.
The minister said he comes from a village which had no electricity till sometimes back, but now whenever there is power cut for even four hours the people would become restive and start complaining about the hardship they are facing.
Appreciating the contribution of CEED he he said when the leader of Russian Revolution of Soviet Union was asked to define Communism he replied: it is nothing but electricity and irrigation.
