Principal arrested after girls stripped off the uniforms
Patna,(BiharTimes): The principal and a teacher of a private school in Begusarai district of Bihar were arrested after two young sisters––students of Class-I and II ––were on Saturday stripped off their uniforms and thrown out of the institution following the failure of the parents to pay the price.
The arrest camne after the father, Chunchun Sah, lodged an FIR with the police.
According to him the principal of the B R Education Academy located at Sikraula village in Koriya panchayat, had provided school uniform to its students who were supposed to pay for it.
He said that he was asked to meet a lady teacher when he had gone to pick up his daughters from school on Saturday.
When he met her, she asked him to immediately deposit the price of the uniforms.
The father alleged that he pleaded for some time to pay but the teacher took off the uniform worn by his two daughters in front of everyone and threw them out of the school.
He said that his complaint to the principal fell on deaf ears, following which he lodged an FIR.
