Patna,(BiharTimes): Senior BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi on Wednesday asked deputy chief minister Tejashwi Prasad Yadav and his brother and health minister Tej Pratap Yadav.
Speaking to the media he said Tejashwi had no right to remain on the post of deputy chief minister even for a minute after the seizure of his properties by the Income Tax Department. He said that if Tejashwi and Tej Pratap do not resign they should be sacked by chief minister Nitish Kumar.
Incidentally, only on Tuesday Tejashwi denied that any of the property of Lalu Prasad’s family have been seized by the Income Tax Department and said that all these news are the figment of imagination of mediapersons. He came down heavily on the BJP for spreading rumours.
Meanwhile, his sister Misa Bharati and her husband Sailesh Kumar appeared before the Income Tax authorities on Wednesday where they were quizzed for six hours.
