Manjhi hits out at Bihar BJP leaders on invitation to Nitish
Patna,(BiharTimes): Former Bihar chief minister and the leader of Hindustani Awam Morcha, Jitan Ram Manjhi, on Wednesday hit out the state BJP leaders for inviting chief minister Nitish Kumar and his party Janata Dal (United) back into the NDA fold.
Talking to the media after a meeting of the HAM Manjhi said that the Bihar BJP leaders have no locus standi on the issue.
All these issues would be discussed by the central leadership of the saffron party. Only prime minister Narendra Modi and any central leader can take decision in this regard. The state BJP leaders have no say whatsoever on the issue, he said.
Manjhi is dead against Nitish being invited to the NDA and has in the past even given enough signal to walk away from the NDA if any such offer is made to JD(U).
Meanwhile, deputy CM Tejashwi Prasad Yadav on Wednesday tweeted that the Bihar unit of the BJP is on the verge of split.
