JD(U) removes Satish from the post of vice president

Patna,(BiharTimes): A month after he flayed the party’s stand on Uttar Pradesh election the Janata Dal (United) on Tuesday removed its Bihar unit vice-president Satish Kumar from the post for alleged anti-partyactivities.

State party chief spokesperson Sanjay Singh said Satish Kumar has been removed from the post of JD(U) state vice-president. Another leader Sanjay Mandal was removed from the post of state organisational secretary for the same reason.

As reported  Satish, a former MLA and once a close aide of chief minister Nitish Kumar has been making statements against party’s national president.

At a Press conference on February 2 Satish accused Nitish of keeping “sycophant advisors”. He was also critical of party keeping away from the UP election and among others held K C Tyagi responsible for it.

Satish, who hails from Nalanda district, was the architect of the Kurmi Maharally of February 12, 1992. Yet has been at odds with Nitish in the past too and had been removed from the party earlier as well.
