Main accused in sexual exploitation case threatens to expose politicians, cops

Patna,(BiharTimes): The main accused in the sexual exploitation case of a minor Dalit girl has threatened to expose politicians and police officials if he was pressurized to surrender in court.

Nikhil, son of a retired bureaucrat of Jharkhand, rang up the office of a local Hindi daily on Friday and revealed that he would upload the video clips of those politicians and police officials on social media who were involved in the sex scandal.

As reported Nikhil has been booked under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences  (POCSO) Act, 2012, as the victim was stated to be a minor. The victim, daughter of a former minister and Congress leader, had lodged a case with the SC/ST police station in Patna in December last year.

Media report quoting sources  said Nikhil was close to the son of a former MP from Bihar and two officials of the Indian Police Service (IPS).

Report also said one of the officers is posted in Patna.

The son of the MP, according to a report in The Telegraph, had provided a SIM card to the girl. The politician’s son was stated to be a friend of Nikhil, the proprietor of an automobile showroom in Patna.

On Thursday, the anticipatory bail petition of Nikhil was rejected by a local court.
