BJP’s oppositions pay for overplaying note ban issue: Nitish
Patna,(BiharTimes): Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar is of the view that overplaying of the demonetisation card by BJP’s opponents paved the way for the BJP’s victory in Uttar Pradesh.
In a statement issued after the results of five state were announced he said there was no need for the opponents of the BJP to have opposed demonetisation so strongly since it had given satisfaction to the poor.
“The poor felt that demonetisation has hit the rich. Many parties ignored this,” the statement said.
He also blamed Samajwadi Party and the BSP for not forming a Bihar type Grand Alliance.
