Patna,(BiharTimes): The main accused in the minor Dalit girl sexual exploitation case
Nikhil Priyadarshi , and his father, retired IAS official Krishna Bihari Prasad Sinha, were on Friday sent to Beur Central Jail.
They were produced before a lower court in
Patna after the Patna Police brought them on a three-day transit remand from Pauri Garhwal in Uttarakhand where both were arrested on March 14.
They were arrested in connection with an FIR lodged by the victim, who is the daughter of a former Congress minister of Bihar, with Buddha Colony police station for revealing her name in public domain and hatching conspiracy against her.
The outgoing Bihar Congress vice-president Brajesh Pandey, along with Nikhil, his father, brother Manish Priyadarshi and friend Sanjeet Kumar Sharma have been made accused.
Except Brajesh, the others are also accused in an FIR lodged by her with the SC/ST police station in Patna on December 22 last year for sexually exploiting and thrashing her.
According to Patna SSP Manu Maharaaj the police have sought their three-day remand for interrogation.
