Manjhi gets legal notice from IAS officer Chanchal Kumar
Patna,(BiharTimes): Former Bihar chief minister and leader of Hindustani Awam Morcha, Jitan Ram Manjhi, has received a legal notice from a senior IAS officer Chanchal Kumar for accusing the latter for allegedly playing a role in the arrest of the chairman of Bihar Staff Selection Commission, Sudhir Kumar.
Confirming the report that he had received a legal notice three days back Manjhi on Tuesday said Chanchal had objected to his Press statement, which said since Sudhir Kumar had meted out some punishment to his father-in-law about 15-20 years back, he (Chanchal Kumar) allegedly played a role in getting BSSC chairman arrested in question paper leak case.
The former CM said he had made the statement on the basis of information provided to him by people who had come to meet him.
Manjhi had repeatedly said that Sudhir and BSSC secretary, Parmeshwar Ram, have been implicated as they are Dalits when the truth is that some influential lobby was behind the leak.
