Two policemen suspended for detaining entrepreneurs

Patna,(BiharTimes): Following strong protest from different quarters the state police headquarters on Thursday suspended sub-inspector Dilip Chauhan and munshi Shambhu Sharan Paswan––both of Gandhi Maidan Police Station––for detaining for six hours Nemi Kumar of Madhubani and Suresh Kumar Sharma of Begusarai after they asked questions from the chief minister Nitish Kumar at the Start-Up Summit in S K Memorial Hall on Tuesday (March 21).

Earlier, the issue had rocked the state legislative council on Thursday, where  Leader of opposition Sushil Kumar Modi alleged the two entrepreneurs were tortured by police because they had dared to ask the chief ministerwhy their applications for a Start-Up were rejected. Don't they have the right to question a CM in a democracy?”
