Police top brass denies ratty report on rodents’ alcoholism
Patna,(BiharTimes): Additional Director General (Headquarters) S K Singhal on Friday denied media reports that rats had consumed nine lakh litres of alcohol stored in the ‘malkhana’ (stores) in police stations across the state.
“We have not received any such complaint either from any police station or district,” he said. Earlier reports quoting police sources suggested that rats have guzzled more than nine lakh litres of liquor which the police had seized at different points of time from all over the state.
