Matter of pride to have ‘samadhi’ in Rajgir: Nitish

Patna,(BiharTimes): Chief minister Nitish Kumar said on Monday that it is a matter of ‘gaurav’ (pride) to have one’s ‘samadhi’ (grave) in Rajgir.

Commenting on RJD president Lalu Prasad’s remarks on Nitish’s frequent visit to Rajgir the latter said that it is good to have one’s ‘samadhi’ in the place of historic, religious and environmental importance.

“I have been visiting Rajgir since my childhood days…I use to go to Pawapuri when I was in my mother’s lap,” he told newsmen.

He said if his ‘samadhi’ comes up in Rajgir it is a matter of ‘gaurav’.

It is not necessary to give reply to all  ‘ghatia’ (base) remarks, he said while referring to Lalu Prasad’s comment made on Sunday.

Lalu asked as to why Nitish frequently visists Nalanda district, especially Rajgir.

JDU leaders reacted sharply with one of them going to the extent of saying that Lalu’s ‘samadhi’ would come up in jail as he would die there and nobody would visit it.
