Patna,(BiharTimes): The wedding ceremony of the son of deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi has been shifted from Sakha Maidan in Rajendra Nagar Colony of Patna to the Veterinary College ground.
As the decision has been taken after a video purportedly showing former health minister Tej Pratap threatening that he would create scene at the function went viral, people have started interpreting it differently.
Modi’s son Utkarsh’s marriage is to be held on December 3.
However, sources said the reason for the shift of venue could be the congestion that could take place around the Sakha Maidan, a residential area with a narrow lane leading to the ground.
Meanwhile, RJD chief Lalu Prasad on Sunday called Sushil Modi ‘darpok’ (coward). He said Sushil Modi’s son is lik his own son and there is nothing to fear about it.
Tej Pratap too assured the deputy CM but went on to alert him that some BJP people may cause disturbance only to blame him.
