I will get Narendra Modi skinned if anything happens to Lalu: Tej Pratap
Patna,(BiharTimes): Former Bihar health minister Tej Pratap Yadav said on Monday that he would get Prime Minister Narendra Modi skinned (khaal udher denge) if any harm is done to his father Lalu Prasad.
He was speaking to the mediapersons outside the state Assembly on the first day of Winter Session.
The remarks comes in the wake of the Narendra Modi government’s decision to scale down the Z-Plus security of Lalu Prasad Yadav and withdrawing of National Security Guards (NSG) from the his security.
Similar decision has been taken on the security of former chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi.
Tej Pratap said this is a conspiracy to get him (Lalu) murdered, but “we will give a
befitting reply to them (if anything wrong happens to him). We will get Narendra Modi skinned (Hum Narendra Modi ka khaal udher denge).”
Tej Pratap said without mincing his words.
When media persons reminded him of what he is saying about the Prime Minister of the country Tej retorted: “If something happens to my father then will you (mediapersons) take responsibility? Who will take responsibility if he is murdered? Isn't my father's life precious?”
Earlier, RJD legislators strongly protested against the scaling down of security to Lalu.
Leaders of opposition in the Assembly and Council, Tejashwi Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi respectively too raised the issue.
