Patna,(BiharTimes): A theft attempt was made at the house of Amit Kumar and his wife Priya Kumar, the son and daughter-in-law of Srijan founder Manorama Devi , at New Vikramsheela Colony of Bhagalpur on Wednesday.
Both Priya and Amit are prime accused in the Srijan Scam and are still at large.
A delayed report from Bhagalpur said two minor boys were spotted inside the premises of the house.
According to station house officer (SHO) of Tilka Manjhi police, Sanjay Kumar Biswas, the house has been under the jurisdiction of CBI ever since the cases related to the scam were handed over to the central investigating agency.
Police suspect that the boys wanted to break into the house with some ulterior motives.
