Nitish, RSS chief to attend “Yagya” in Ara

Patna,(BiharTimes): Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar and Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat, will take part in the “Yagya” which is being organised in Ara on the 1000th birth anniversary of Ramanujacharya on October 4.

Ramanujacharya was a Vaishnavite saint, philosopher and theologian who wrote commentaries on Brahma Sutras and Bhagwad Gita.

According to BJP sources it is a national level religious programme and prominent personalities from all over the country are expected to  attend it.

This will be the first time that Nitish, as the chief minister of Bihar, is attending any function in which Mohan Bhagwat will be present.

In fact he had strongly criticised the RSS chief when he gave his statement on review of reservation policy just ahead of the Bihar Assembly election in October-November 2015.

As the chief minister Nitish had shared dais with former RSS chief K Sudarshan during his previous alliance with the BJP.
