Patna,(BiharTimes): The Bihar BJP on Friday resolved to strengthen organisational set-up at the booth level.
Talking to the media after the inaugural session of a day long state working committee meeting its general secretary Rajendra Singh said the party would set up three-member panels at all booths. So far such panels have been made in 40,000 booths.
There are in all 62,780 polling booths in the state. The booth panels have been named as Trishakti.
The saffron party has also drafted 243 dedicated workers in as many Assembly constituencies. They would spend a year in the constituency assigned to them to strengthen the party's organisational structure.
The working committee meeting was attended by several Union ministers, from Bihar like Radha Mohan Singh, Dharmendra Pradhan, Raj Kumar Singh and Ashwini Choubey among others.
Besides, MPs and legislators from the state were also present.
State president Nityanand Rai flayed RJD chief Lalu Prasad, saying he had exploited Dalits and backwards in the state, in the name of caste.
