Internet services suspended following tension in Madhepura
Patna,(BiharTimes): Tension grips parts of Madhepura district after cow carcasses were reportedly found floating in a canal at Tinkonwan village under Murliganj police station of the district on Monday.
However, timely intervention by police and social activists helped control the situation.
The administration suspended internet connections in seven districts of Kosi and Purnea divisions as a day earlier, that is on Sunday, Araria too witnessed communal tension.
The seven districts to be affected by the suspension of internet services till Tuesday are Madhepura, Supaul and Saharsa under Kosi division and Purnea, Araria, Kishanganj and Katihar in Purnia division.
