Patna,(BiharTimes): Israel’s ambassador to India Daniel Carmon, met chief minister Nitish Kumar at latter’s official residence in Patna on Thursday.
They discussed two agricultural research centres being built by Israel in Nalanda and Vaishali districts.
Carmon reportedly told Nitish about his country extending help to India in building agricultural research centres.
Nalanda centre is on research in vegetables the second such centre in Vaishali is related to research in the field of mango and litchis.
The farmers would be trained in the latest technology in the farm sector at these centres.
Daniel Carmon evinced interest in extending assistance to Bihar in the field of new technology.
Principal Secretary Chanchal Kumar and Secretary in the Chief Minister Office Atish Chandra were present on the occasion.
