NTA announces schedule for NEET, UGC NET, JEE Main, CMAT and GPAT exams





The Centre on Tuesday announced the dates for various exams to be conducted by the National Testing Agency till May 2019. The tentative schedule for the exams was released by the human resource and development (HRD) ministry at a press conference on July 7.

The government has released the schedule for the UGC NET, JEE Main 1 and JEE Main II, NEET (UG), CMAT and GPAT exams.

The UGC-NET will be a computer-based exam for which candidates will be able to register between September 1 and 30. The admit cards for the examinations – to be held between December 9 and 23 – can be downloaded from November 19. The results will be announced on January 10, 2019.

The JEE Main-I will be a computer-based examination for which candidates will be able to register between September 1 and 30. The admit card for the examination – to be held between January 6 and 20 – can be downloaded from December 17. The results will be announced on January 31, 2019.

The JEE Main-II will be a computer-based exam for which candidates will be able to register between February 8 and March 7, 2019. The admit card for the examination – to be held between April 6 and April 20, 2019 – can be downloaded from March 18. The results will be announced on April 30, 2019.

The NEET (UG) exam will be a single-session test held on a pen-and-paper basis. Candidates will be able to register for the same between November 1 and 30. The admit card for the exam – to be held on May 5, 2019 – can be downloaded from April 15. The results will be announced on June 5, 2019.

The CMAT and GPAT will be computer-based exams for which candidates will be able to register between November 1 and 30. Admit cards for the exams –to be held on January 28, 2019—can be downloaded from January 7. The results will be announced on February 10, 2019.
