Patna: Kalpana Kumari of Sheohar district in Bihar has topped the NEET 2018 national eligibility-cum-entrance test (NEET) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).The result was declared on Monday.
A Native of Narwara village of the district, and student of Navodaya Vidyalaya, Kalpana secured a percentile score of 99.99 and 691 marks 691 marks out of 720. She got 100 per cent marks in Biology.
A total of 13,26,725 candidates had appeared for the NEET on May 6, which was conducted in 136 cities in 11 languages.
NEET is conducted by the CBSE for admission to the MBBS and the BDS courses in colleges run with the approval of the Medical Council of India and the Dental Council of India.
