A.N College to host 7 th Bihar Science Conference 2018





Patna: A.N College would play host to scientist of National and International repute during 7th Bihar Science Conference (BSC) 2018, An International Conference on Science & Technology between December 4 to December 6, 2018. The college is organizing this event jointly in association with BBrains Development Society commonly Known as BiharBrains. This was announced by Dr, S.P.Shahi, principal of A.N College, Patna in a meeting held at College with a delegation of BBrains Development Society and its organizing committee members led by Bibhuti Bikramaditya, Global chairman of the society.

B.Brains Development Society commonly known as “BiharBrains” is a nonprofit organization registered under society Act with special focus on awareness building on education and creating environment for research and development in Bihar. The society organizes Bihar Science Conference every year in association with different Colleges/ universities of Bihar to promote research in areas of science and technology in the state under guidance of 25 member global scientific council of the society. A.N College, Patna which is premiere constituent college of Bihar has accepted to host this year science conference.

The conference is organized every year on the Pattern of Indian Science Congress Since 2008 . It was hosted by Patna Science College in 2008, College of commerce in 2009, Gaya College, Gaya in 2010 and LS College, Muzaffarpur in 2011, Sri Arvind Mahila College in 2013, Magadh Mahila College in 2014. After a gap of three years, the series of the conference is again started with new energy and vigor. This year A.N Collge is going to host the conference.

The main aim of this conference is to bring together experts from various fields to evaluate the existing information, to interpret the presented data, to discuss the suitable measures for clear and useful results and finally to explore if the collective efforts are promising to achieve favorable working environment for research and development in the state.
