RJD MP’s estranged wife challenges him to undergo DNA test

Patna, (Bihar Times): Pramila Kumari Manjhi, the estranged wife of Rashtriya Janata Dal MP from Gaya, Rajesh Kumar Manjhi, on Monday challenged him to undergo DNA tests after he claimed, in his divorce petition, that he was not the father of one of her sons.

It needs to be mentioned that a few months ago a parliamentary committee had recommended the suspension of MP for three months from parliament on the complaint of Pramila that he was living with some other women.

Rajesh filed a divorce petition in Gaya district civil court last week and said that Pramila had been married before and  one of her sons was from her previous marriage. He also charged that Pramila misbehaved with his parents and was defaming him for money.

However Pramila, who originally comes from Jehanabad district, told a section of Press that she challenged him to go for a DNA test along with the children to ascertain the truth. Pramila said only a DNA test would prove whether he is the father of her children or not.

Pramila admitted that she was married before but said Manjhi was the father of her sons. “Manjhi has been lying all along and making false allegations to get rid of me since I raised objection to his extra-marital relationship.”

Pramila alleged that another woman was availing of medical facilities meant for her as the wife of Majhi. She said her husband had married the woman without divorcing her. Pramila works as an Anganbari Sevika in Bodh Gaya after Rajesh deserted her.
