Ruling NDA MLAs throw out party legislator from Assembly

Patna, (Bihar Times): The scene resembled that of the same-side goal in football or hockey. Ruling National Democratic Alliance MLAs of the Bihar assembly forcibly lifted, Cheddi Paswan, the suspended Janata Dal (United) MLA from the state assembly and threw him out of the House. The poor Marshals seem to be privately thanking them for doing their job and that too so efficiently.

The trouble arose when Cheddi Paswan tried to raise the issue of Maha Dalit Commission. Upon this the road construction minister, Nand Kishore Yadav, stood up and tried to shout him down. The minister even used some threatening language against the MLA. When Cheddi refused to relent about 15-20 ruling alliance MLAs physically lifted him out of the House.

Later Cheddi along with opposition MLAs sat on dharna outside the chamber of Speaker, Uday Narayan Chaudhary, in protest against the incident. The ugly drama continued till lunch break and the issue was raised even after the recess.
