|           | Patna (Bihar Times): MLAs belonging to the RJD on
Wednesday once again staged protest in the Bihar
assembly over alleged harassment of the leader of
opposition, Rabri Devi, by the senior superintendent
of police of Patna, Kundan Krishnan, and security
personnel while she was entering the Assembly premises
    in her car of Tuesday.
The situation turned ugly when the Speaker, Udai
Narain  Choudhary, deferred his ruling till Thursday
on a privilege notice moved by them against Deputy
Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi on the matter. After
the Question Hour RJD’s deputy leader Shakeel Ahmed
Khan wanted to know the fate of the privilege notice
sent to the Speaker’s office on Wednesday morning. As
the Speaker insisted that he would pass his ruling on
the notice on Thursday, RJD members got agitated and
pressed for his ruling immediately. Chief Minister
Nitish Kumar intervened and suggested the Speaker to
give his ruling on Thursday after the Question Hour.
